hmm haven’t given that much thought, though. hmm let me see. i plan to retire from engineering in about 5 years time. i want to become a photographer. good good. your lolo would love that. what will you feed your family? those pictures wont feed you. my lolo managed to put all ten of his children to college. and besides, marriage is not in my 5 year plan. i would take pictures of tinuy-an, and some unexplored white sand beaches and islands in surigao. i would love to be the first to capture the beauty of the place. believe it or not, that is something i plan to do too. really? that’s good to know. take pictures. i love taking pictures of sadness. i hate pictures with smiles all over. there is something i really love to do. hmm what’s that? kana ganing kuhaan nimo’g picture kanang tao nga gipusil. kanang nakatutok ang pusil sa iya nawong. gusto nako ma-capture ang expression sa iya nawong bag-o sya mamatay. gusto kong makunan ng picture yung ano, yung taong babarilin. yung may baril na nakatutok sa mukha nya. gusto kong ma-capture yung expression ng mukha nya bago sya mamatay. i want to take a picture of a man who gets shot. that exact moment when the gun is pointed at his face. i want to capture his expression right before he dies. thou shall not kill. gun ban forever. make love not war.

If only I could, I’d live that life now. But fate won’t let me, I guess.Joey, kuyog nya ko surigao! I’ve heard about the beautiful beaches, and haven’t seen/visited them yet. Something I should do before I’m too old to have a vacation.
