He wakes up to the sound of her laughter. Warm sun rays hit his sleep- ridden eyes. He grabs the pillow closest to him but before he was able to hug it, she snatched it and threw it down to the floor. She was on the phone, talking to her best friend. She stares at him, her laughter simmers down to a smile. her eyes tell him she was happy he was there. Her voice lowers down to a murmur, he could hear her friend on the other end blabbing over nonsense. He stares back at her, his head resting on a pillow, straight up to comfortably see her. a smile forms on his lips, he cant believe he was there. In her dad’s room.
He wakes up face down on the floor. He could her laughing in the living room. He grabs a pillow from the bed and covers his head with it. he smiles, reminding himself that he had to get used to waking up to her laughter for the rest of their lives. It was a laughter he enjoyed though. A moment later, she opens the door, puts down a glass of orange juice by his side, and grabs the garter of his pajamas. He turns around, pretending he had just woke up, and with much effort, lets out a groggy voice. “are they gone?” nope. She answers, her eyes held his as usual. They’re having breakfast in the dining room. She picks the glass by his side. Hey I made you some orange juice. Holding the glass in front of her. Get up. He gets up on all fours, brings his face close to hers, still not letting go of her eyes. and gently, he plants a kiss on her lips. Good morning. Her eyes were closed.
He wakes up and sees her, still asleep. This is the woman im going to spend the rest of my life with. The warm sun rays of the early morning made her skin glow. He touches her face, pushes stray hair away from her cheeks, and tucks them gently under her ears. His fingers ran slowly down the contours of her nose, taking the sight of her inch by inch. He held her face like it was the first time he saw it. palm on her cheeks, he plays with her lips using his thumb. These are the lips im going to kiss forever. He brings his lips to hers. Tears fall from his eyes.
