say goodbye
my parents celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary last monday. congrats ma and pa!
if you ask me, 30 years is eternity. i cant even last 3 months with anyone. then i began computing. if i go out with somebody for three months at a time, in 30 years i would have had 120 ex girlfriends. hmm.
seriously, what happens to exes? i keep playing with this idea, that as children, most of us have no idea of our parents’ exes. the norms of society dictates that exes should be omitted from the life story of every parent. sad but true.
having 120 girlfriends in 30 years is a sad story then. aside from the fact that it’s not something to be proud of, you could end up forgotten and deleted from the pages of 120 biographies.
so to the question am i gonna go on and break more hearts, im finally saying NO. i can truly smile now.

it’s funny when i was young my mom always tells us about her suitors (pero not exes) and i believe i met a few of them, introduced to us, and seemingly, they appear to be still in love with my mom.
30years nga… a long time of patience and trust and confidence… syempre love. nakakainggit.

Well, if you indeed broke her heart then you should be deleted from her biography. It’s something I would do. Call me vindictive and callous. But, hey, the past is better left there.

so far sa akin, wala naman akong tinanggal sa list eh.. kahit ginago lang nila ako dati. friends ko cla lahat, iba pa nga, ninang na ako ng mga anak nila..
